To support residents to meet their nutritional need
To support and encourage the persons to look after their home environment and
provide practical support where necessary.
To support/promote good personal hygiene.
To escort and/or book appointments and correspondence with/for the client.
Provide support to clients in budgeting and to understand the importance of
paying their bills and maintaining their tenancy, also following the house
rules.
Prompt medication and monitor self-medication. Medication ordering and receipt.
To have 1:1 with clients when they are experiencing a difficult time during
their recovery while with us. Make sure you communicate with their health care
practitioners or via the Service Manager.
Ensure that you follow all health and safety measures Comply and Promote health
and safety, fire precautions and preventions to a good standard, report any
faults to the Service Manager.
To maintain records to a good standard daily record on Care Control effectively.
To comply with Patience company, regulations, policies, and high standards of
care.
To attend statutory training sessions, staff meetings and supervision.
To undertake such other duties as required by the Service Manager.
Requirements
Ability to listen, consult and communicate effectively with individuals
Ability to perform personal care, light cleaning, food preparation, shopping and
any other relevant activities that assist a person to live independently
Ability to take on extra tasks to help the client fulfil their needs.
Ability to multitask.
Experience of up to 6 months is an added advantage
A Care certificate level 1 or above in Health and Social Care/similar for adults
or working towards it/willing to undertake this.

Must be a driver; the company will provide a car for staff members with no car.
